Deposit Accounts

SHARE SAVINGS ACCOUNTS

In order to be a member, you must have a Membership Share/ Savings Account.  You may also have secondary share/savings accounts under your base account number for your own special saving needs.  Dividends are declared and paid quarterly, based upon the credit union’s previous quarter’s earnings.

SHARE DRAFT/ CHECKING ACCOUNTS

Our checking accounts are provided to you with no periodic or per item service fees and there is no minimum balance requirement.  The only expense to you is your check printing, unless you would overdraw or need a special service, such as a stop payment, etc.  No dividends are paid on these accounts.

SHARE/CHRISTMAS CLUB ACCOUNTS

These accounts are paid out on an annual basis on the second Thursday in October.  Dividends are paid quarterly on these accounts at the same time as on the regular savings accounts.

IRA SHARE ACCOUNT

The credit union offers both Traditional and Roth IRA share accounts.  Dividends are declared and paid quarterly, based upon the credit union’s previous quarter’s earnings.

SHARE CERTIFICATES/CD’S

Certificates of deposit are compounded quarterly.  Five hundred ($500.00) is the minimum deposit to open a certificate.  Rates are subject to change without notice.  All CD’s will have an early withdrawal penalty of 90 days interest on less than one year term and 182 day interest over 1 year term.  The APY is based on balance remaining on deposit for full 365 day year.

IRA SHARE CERTIFICATES

The credit union offers both Traditional and Roth share certificates.  Five hundred ($500.00) is the minimum deposit to open a IRA certificate.  Rates are subject to change without notice.  All share certificates have an early withdrawal penalty of 90 days of interest on less than one year term and 182 days interest over 1 year term.
